Madonna’s spectacular Super Bowl success

Madonna’s half time show at the 2012 Bridgestone Super bowl really did prove she deserves to be considered one of the most influential and powerful women of all times. Her amazing halftime show was one of the best shows she performed as she sang a medley of her greatest hits to this day including ‘Vogue’ and ‘MUSIC.’

At 54 years of age, Madonna showed audiences all over the world that age is no adversity as she performed as if she was still in her twenties. Her young sidekicks including Nicki Minaj joined her on stage to add a further essence of flair and style to the show. Her energetic choreography was well received by audiences worldwide, despite concerns that some of her moves might have been offensive to some, including the appearance of a middle finger which was hastily covered up on the big screen.

As far as the history of half time Super bowls goes, Madonna’s performance was most definitely one of the most brilliant ones that didn’t result in superstars bearing all on stage, such as the infamous Janet Jackson moment. However, Madonna’s show wasn’t all flawless as she stumbled slightly on stage during her performance of ‘MUSIC.’ But the superstar recovered swiftly and made it seem like it was all part of the act, further proof that the woman should be considered one of the most iconic figures of all time.

The show reached a fantastic climax which saw Madonna disappear in a smoky haze with the words ‘World Peace’ projected onto the field.
