Investigation launched after death of man in Limerick city early this morning

GARDAI in Limerick have launched an investigation following the death of a man in the city early this morning. The man, who is believed to be in his 40’s, was discovered outside a house in Lenihan Avenue in Ballinacurra Weston at about 12.30am. It is believed that he had been stabbed. Gardai were alerted to an incident in the estate, and subsequently found the deceased lying outside the front door of the house.
