Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48, her publicist Karen Foster confirmed. The L.A. Times reported that the singer was found dead in a hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday. News of the singer’s death spread rapidly across social networking sites and claimed every single spot on Twitter’s worldwide trending list.
