THE University of Limerick has announced that it will mark its 40th anniversary in style, awarding €2,000 scholarships to 40 incoming students. The news will provide a much-needed boost to prospective students, following the government’s recent announcement that university fees are to again increase. The scholarships will be offered to students who will begin their undergraduate studies in the Autumn semester for the academic year 2012/2013.
